This morning, Vizio confirmed its 2016 M-Series and E-Series lineup, highlighted by 4K TVs starting at just $469. Notably, all of the new TVs will include the same SmartCast ecosystem recently announced with the new high-end P-Series 4K TVs.

2016 E-Series TVs
The more affordable E-Series starts at just $229 for the entry-level 32-inch model, and includes both full-HD (1080p) and UHD (4K) resolutions across its 13 screen sizes. Like last year's models, the E-Series TVs will continue to exhibit a focus on picture quality, with full-array local dimming for more impressive contrast. The full-HD sets will include a TV tuner for over-the-air content, but they've been phased out of the more advanced UHD E-Series TVs.

The 2016 E-Series TVs are available in 13 screen sizes from $229 to $1,699, and include both full-HD and UHD resolutions.
2016 M-Series TVs
The slightly more expensive M-Series TVs will also include SmartCast and full-array local dimming, and all models will offer UHD (4K) resolution. In terms of picture quality, the M-Series TVs go a step further than the E-Series by offering compatibility with the new High Dynamic Range (HDR) format, including the ability to play both HDR10 and Dolby Vision content.
The M-Series TVs start at $849 for the 50-inch model, and top off at $3,999 for the gargantuan 80-inch. Like the P-Series models, all M-Series TVs include a tablet controller that runs Vizio's native SmartCast app, keeping the TV screen free of clutter and putting your content front and center.
