At New York City's Guggenheim Museum today, Samsung announced details about pricing and availability for its 2014 TV and home entertainment lineup, as well as big new plans for delivering UHD content.

In the coming weeks and months, the company will release four new UHD TVs and two deluxe LED LCDs. All of the new 4K TVs ship with Samsung's Evolution Kits—which pack future-proof hookups (such as MHL 3.0, HEVC, HDMI 2.0, and HDCP 2.2) and offer regular upgrades for new software features. All 2014 UHD TVs will also sport new upscaling engines to improve the look of lower resolution content.

The biggest and baddest new Samsung UHD TV is a 105-inch curved display with a 21 x 9 movie-theater aspect ratio. This enormous TV will reportedly go on sale in the second half of 2014. Price is still to be determined, but don't bet on a bargain.

The second curved UHD offering is the U9000 series. This series' claim to fame is a feature called Auto Depth Enhancer, which allegedly displays a 3D-like effect via enhanced contrast—no glasses needed. Though curved, the U9000 can be wall-mounted. This series goes on sale during March in 55-, 65-, and 78-inch models (MSRP $3,999, $4,999, and $7,999).

Buyers can also expect the U8700 UHD series. These TVs will be extremely narrow, just 1.2-inches deep, with very thin bezels. The U8700 series will hit shelves this spring in 55- and 65-inch sizes, but pricing has not been announced.

Finally, for anyone in search of 4K without a curved screen, the company is also releasing a flat UHD TV called the U8550. Consumers can buy these TVs in 55- and 65-inch sizes (MSRP $2,999 and $3,999, respectively) this month. In May, Samsung will expand this lineup with 50-, 60-, and 75-inch versions (MSRP $2,499; $3,499; $5,999).

Regular old HDTV lovers also got some news today: Pricing and availability for 2014 HD LED LCD models was revealed. The new models include the curved H8000 and the H7150 series. The curved H8000 TVs will ship in 55- and 65-inch sizes for $2,499 and $3,399 this spring, and a 48-inch model will be added in May for $1,999. The LED flatscreen H7150 series will be available during spring in 55-, 60-, 65-, and 75-inch versions (MSRP $1,899; $2,199; $2,699; $3,999).

In addition to new televisions, Samsung also disclosed pricing and sale dates for a slew of other home theater items, all to release this spring: The Shape Wireless Audio-Multiroom M5 Speaker joins its wireless Shape brethren for $299.99; an HW-H750 Soundbar and wireless subwoofer with analog, digital, and 96k/24bit HD support (MSRP $799); the BD- H6500 Blu-ray player (MSRP $179); and the MX-HS9000 and MX-HS8500 DJ Giga Systems (MSRP $1,499 & $1,299.99).
