Panasonic 20-inch 4K2K
One of the biggest buzzwords floating around CES is the term 4K, also referred to as 4K2K, or sometimes (erroneously) UDTV or ultra definition. Essentially, 4K is just a sharper image than HD, by a factor of two. The , debuting at this year's CES, is a prototype of that technology. Don't expect to see it in stores this year, or even in 2013. There's virtually no content for 4K right now, no easy standard for delivering it to the TV, and the manufacturing costs are high.
