Science Channel to Make Educational TV Obscenely Fun

Science fans, rejoice! The Science Channel and Craig Ferguson are teaming up to pilot a new television series based on the Facebook phenomenon, I F-ing Love Science.
Ferguson, host of CBS' Late Late Show, will serve as executive producer for the show, which is set to premiere this fall. On staff as Consulting Producer is Elise Andrew, creator and founder of the original I F*cking Love Science (IFLS) page on Facebook.
According to The Wrap, IFLS will be a one-hour show combining live action and animation to demonstrate the "random manifestations of science that connects us."
The announcement came at South By Southwest in Austin, Texas, where a video message recorded by Ferguson and Andrew described the general structure and mission for the series.
Andrew seems pleased with the direction her brain child has taken: “This partnership with Craig and Science Channel is an exciting new venture that I hope will encourage more people to embrace the amazing, wonderful world of science.”
So where does Craig Ferguson fit into all this? In the announcement video, he described the show's raison d'être. According to Ferguson, IFLS will "explore the randomness of science. Think of it as a late night Google search that goes a hundred pages deep until things get weird—and then you just keep going."
Sounds to us like he just f-ing loves science.
