Samsung UN40ES6100F Smart LED LCD HDTV Review
The UN40ES6100 is a good beginner TV, but there are larger options available for less money.
Samsung's 40-inch ES6100 series is a slim, attractive TV that brings a decent amount of connectivity options and backs it up with solid core performance and the inclusion of Samsung's Smart Hub, one of the best smart platforms currently available. For its $1199 MSRP, users are getting a TV that's of smaller size, but won't disappoint in the important areas of color production and contrast ratio. However, nothing about this model is perfect, and its price is boosted considerably due to the inclusion of smart features, and the fact that it carries the Samsung brand name. A good starter TV for a dorm or an office, but we don't recommend it for a long-term, serious TV investment, especially with larger TVs available for less money.
