Samsung PN51D550C1F 3D Plasma HDTV Review$999.00
The Samsung PN51D550 has a native resolution of 1080p (1920 x 1080), but it can handle all standard NTSC formats.
The Samsung PN51D550 has a great viewing angle, like nearly all plasma TVs. In fact, it's identical to the Panasonic we pulled in for comparison. As is typical, LCD TVs like the Sony and the LG could not compete.
Plasma TVs use a glass panel rather than acrylic, so they tend to reflect a lot more light. Samsung has done what it can to minimize glare, but if you're in a sunny room and watching a dark scene, it's like looking into a mirror. No worse than most plasmas, but no better, either.
The Samsung PN51D550 has a small handful of video processing features.
